It might be “the most fantastic time of the year,” however it does have an expiration date. I’m speaking about the Christmas season; or more particularly the Christmas lights and decors, which (if you’re a real follower) must have come down onJan 6 with the event of “Little Christmas”
According to bhg.com, in the Christian tradition,Jan 6 marks the day the 3 kings, or as we call them in New Jersey, the “3 smart people,” really shown up inBethlehem This wanted Jesus was born, signifying completion of Christmas events
As much as I enjoy the Christmas season, it’s at this time of year I state “adequate suffices.” Time to proceed and handle theNew Year Just like you would not consume anything left over from Christmas supper, taking a look at the decors now makes you feel either dated or depressed. It’s time to proceed.

The lights were on up untilJan 6, ‘Little Christmas’ In our household, all our decors keep up till that time. So, on January 7th we began taking whatever down. We had some aid- our boy and his buddies, and obviously, my moms and dads are the most significant aid, they are constantly there for us!
