According to a news release from the Maine Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at about 8:05 AM. The news release describes that a box truck run by 22 years of age Manuel Depina-Gonolves, of Boston, was taking a trip southbound when he crashed into a completely filled cement truck.
Depina-Gonolves was stuck in his truck and needed to be drawn out, While his injuries were extreme, they were not harmful.
59 years of age Peter Macdonald, of South Berwick, the motorist of the cement truck, was not hurt in the crash
The news release goes on to state:
Preliminary examination shows speed and following to close were consider the crash. The lane has actually been re-opened to traffic. The Maine State Police were helped on scene by the Kittery Fire Department and the Maine Turnpike Authority Maintenance teams.

According to a report on WGME’s site, 2 tractor trailers have actually clashed near Kittery today.
