AUSTIN, Texas (June 29, 2022)– Texas Hill Country Wineries brought house an overall of 78 medals at the 2022 TEXSOM International Wine Awards.
Over 2,000 white wines were blind-tasted and evaluated by 40 popular tastemakers from throughout the nation last month, leading to an overall of 1,541 medals.
Texas white wines in basic carried out incredibly well in the competitors, taking house 164 awards. Texas Hill Country Wineries members won 5 Platinum Medals, 2 Gold, 28 Silver and 43Bronze Medals Of the acclaimed Texas white wines, 13 were from the Texas Hill Country AVA.
