The yearly Black-Eyed Pea Cook-Off is a New Year’s custom that WCV fans flock to Hye for. Join them for a Southern- design event and assist them crown their 2022 champ on Saturday, January 1st, 2023 at 1 PM. All tickets consist of; A New Year’s toast with their wine making group, barrel tastings, a meal by the WCV internal cooking group, red wine tasting tickets, a special WCV Black-Eyed Pea tee shirt, a tasting of all black-eyed pea meals, one vote to cast for your preferred meal, and live music throughout the occasion!
Tickets can be acquired here for $50 (kid tickets: 21 and under for $12) If thinking about entering your black eyed pea meal, candidate entry costs $75 and will consist of a greeter red wine, plate of food & & Tee shirts. Contestants will be anticipated to get here at 10am to begin cookin’! There will be prizes for 1st, second, and 3rd location purchased plus cash/wine rewards consisting of:
- 1st– $500, Case of Wine
- second– $250, 6 Bottles
- 3rd– 4 bottles of red wine
Additionally, William Chris VIneyards started their brand-new supper experience, Supper Club, taking place weekly at the Hye Tasting Room
Join WCV internal cooking group weekly for a skillfully crafted supper experience coupled with Texas red wine. Chef Daniel Todd is preparing a brand-new menu each Wednesday and is welcoming you to this Hye dining experience. Dinner consists of glasses of William Chris red wine that are hand picked to couple with the courses served. All white wines included will be readily available for purchase at the supper.
