Hey Maine Drivers, Stop Doing This, You’re Clogging Up Traffic

I have no issue confessing that, sometimes, I am an actually restless individual. Like a great deal of individuals, I have a great deal of things going on in my life and seldom sufficient time to get whatever done. Some days, I am on the run from prior to the sun shows up till after sundown.

Because of how hectic I am, preventable traffic backups actually irritate the crap out me. Yes, some backups are inevitable. For example, the jam we have on Western Avenue or Bangor Street in Augusta on weekday early mornings. There are countless federal government employees entering into town at the exact same time. It is going to trigger traffic backups. Other times, however, individuals do things that trigger totally preventable jam-ups with traffic.

One of the important things individuals do that makes me irritated includes turning lanes. To quote Peter Griffin, “it actually grinds my equipments!”

A great deal of times, on busier in the area streets, you’ll discover 2 lanes at the crossway. One lane is for going directly or turning left. The other lane is for turning right.

So, what’s the problem?

Normally, there is no problem, unless somebody is not able to remain in their lane. There are a couple crossways in our location where I constantly discover myself turning right. And, I constantly appear to experience individuals who can’t appear to keep their lorry in their lane. Sometimes, these individuals actually straddle the divider in between the lanes.

I am not discussing individuals driving extremely task trucks, either. They have larger cars so we tend to provide some freedom. In most cases, these are typical sized cars and trucks or SUVs Sometimes, they are even compact cars and trucks.

If there are no curbs, it is not that huge of an issue, since you can simply skootch over a little to navigate them. But, if there are curbs or pathways, you can’t.

Please stop doing this! It avoids individuals who might generally turn right, from turning right since they can’t enter the best lane.

Sure, if it is a peaceful time of day, or a peaceful location, it is simply a small hassle. But, throughout peak times, it might actually back traffic up.

So, please be polite and make certain your lorry is totally in the lane.
