Detectives with the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office continue to examine the information and situations surrounding last month’s deadly shooting near Burns.
The event happened on Monday,Oct 24, at a house in the 4300 block of the East Interstate 80 Service Road, approximately 3 miles east of the TA Travel Center.
Captain Kevin James states deputies were contacted us to the scene at 3:03 p.m and showed up to discover 41-year-old Cheyenne citizen Alexander Frederick Papin II struggling with a gunshot injury.
Papin was noticable dead at the scene by medical responders.

The suspect was apprehended by police the very same day of the shooting, however since today,Nov 10, no information about the shooter or their intentions have actually been launched.
