The United States Postal Service (USPS) revealed its brand-new Love 2023 Forever stamps at Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) on Thursday early morning.
Every year, the USPS launches a new “Love Forever” stamp a month prior to Valentine’s Day as part of the “First Day of Issue Ceremony.” For the 2023 season, USPS decided to have the style of the stamp honor the felines and pets individuals enjoy to shower with presents and hugs year-round.
“Evoking sensations of heat and playfulness, each stamp reveals an adorable and cuddly animal resting its front paws on a huge red heart. Sure to include a little bit of whimsy to your valentines, these lovable stamps are likewise appropriate for usage on letters and cards throughout the year,” a news release from the USPS states.
Animal fans can select in between either a young puppy or a kitty raiding a huge red heart to send out mail to their enjoyed ones.
USPS held a devotion event at 11 am on January 19 in an outdoors tented location of the APA! car park. The cherished Austin not-for-profit was picked by the USPS for the expose due to the style of the stamps.
“At Austin Pets Alive! most of the pets, pups, felines, and kitties on school were when on euthanasia lists in other shelters,” USPS stated on a webpage for the occasion. “They have around 350 adoptable animals on school and around 1,100 animals in foster care today. They just recently commemorated the 100,000 th rescue given that their not-for-profit was established– a presentation of LOVE in action.”
