ErmaRose Winery‘s owner and vintner Jennifer Prothow began making red wine after serving in the Marines as a method to adapt to life back house. But she does not utilize grapes to develop her white wines– rather, she ferments lemons, cranberries, bananas, mangoes, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and peaches to develop special tastes such as Blackberry-Lemon, Peach-Lemon andDragonfly Fruit The winery even won eight awards at Houston Rodeo Uncorked!
