Get all set for pancakes, bacon, sausage, and more pancakes. Oh, and pass the syrup and butter along too. The Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival is back at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on Saturday, February 18th from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
It’s a throughout the day occasion and fundraising event with all you can consume pancakes. This is the 71st year of the Lubbock Lions Club Festival and tickets are still at a terrific cost. Cost of the tickets ahead of time expense $10 and $12 at the door.
And at the Lubbock Lions Club Pancake Festival, you will not need to fret about any supply chain problems. Nearly 6 thousand pounds of pancake mix is headed to Lubbock together with 41,000 ounces of Pancake Syrup, 80,000 sausage links, and over 23,000 pieces of bacon. And that is simply the start.
According to a news release from the Lubbock Lions Club, which is among the biggest Lions Club’s in the country, the cash raised from this fundraising event assists lots of companies.
Because everybody likes Pancakes!!! The just thing much better than consuming a great deal of pancakes is understanding that each year Lubbock Lions Club contributes all of the earnings raised from the Pancake Festival to over 30 charities. Some of the companies that took advantage of the cashes we raised the previous number of years consist of, the Adult Eyeglass Program, Boy Scout Troop 157, LISD Eyeglasses for Children, Children’s Miracle Network, Meals on Wheels, The Salvation Army, Sick Children’s Clinic of Lubbock, YWCA Adaptive Aquatics Program, Catholic Charities and the Texas Lions Camp for kids with unique requirements (Lubbock kids attend this camp free of charge). We will have contribution bins at the Festival for spectacles and listening devices contribution
